Fun days, Mondays....not so much!

So today was the start of the week. Not to much going on. I started with the wonderful awakening of my lights flipping on and our sweet, sweet daughter staring at me telling me we were going to be late for school. Mind you, it was 3 min. before the alarm would go off. I said, we're fine, and she huffed and walked out saying, "We're going to be late, and it's all your fault!" I smiled and layed there for a few moments letting myself wake up more. The alarm went off, I hit the off button and went in for the wake up routine. 15 min. later when I'm freshly brushed, groomed, and dressed, I walk over to her room to find her sitting on her bed, in pajamas, and flipping through the guide on the tv to see what's on. Are you kidding me?? You are giving yourself an ulcer from worrying that Mom will sleep in, only to find that you are laying around as if it's Saturday and nothing to do. Oh my! I told her to get dressed, and walked myself downstairs before the baby woke up for the day. Our middle son walked down with me as I went to get him some clothes, he curled up on the couch and hid under a blanket. Morning routine went well, the kids were on time, as I suspected they would be all along, and then I found myself at home with so much to do, but little motiviation.
So I hung around and time came for the baby's nap. So I put him down. He's been sick, so rest is in high demand for the both of us. But as he sleeps, I go start up some more laundry, then park my butt right in front of the tv with the intentions of enjoying some of my dvr shows. Little did I know the phone calls would start then.
So after spending practically all day on the phone and a few moments on Facebook. It was time to get the kids from school. Life, for a Monday, was pretty boring today and here I sit in need of a wicked good night's rest. Yet I'm on the computer blogging and chatting with my husband, which btw, I'm still disgruntled with. But as always, I'd rather be disgruntled with him, than anyone else. So I endure his crap he dishes out. :0)

That's about it for the day. Let's hope tomorrow packs more of a punch in the excitement department!
